iphone 17 pro max 256 price – what you need to know

Key specifications

Apple lists the iPhone 17 Pro Max with a 6.9‑inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel that hits 2,868 × 1,320 pixels, roughly 460 ppi. The adaptive 120 Hz ProMotion refresh rate keeps scrolling buttery smooth, and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits handles bright Kampala sunlight.

• Camera: Triple 48 MP rear lenses (wide, ultra‑wide, telephoto) plus LiDAR and ProRes RAW video.

Why Ugandan buyers consider the 17 Pro Max

Local tech reviewers point out that the iPhone 17 Pro Max still outpaces many Android flagships in camera quality and ecosystem integration. For creators who need 8K video or heavy multitasking, the A19 Pro chip and 256 GB storage are decisive. Moreover, the price of UGX 6,750,000 is lower than the cost of importing a brand‑new iPhone 18, which JP Morgan reports is already seeing strong demand in other markets.

Comparing the 17 Pro Max with the upcoming 18 Pro

Analysts at The Independent note that the iPhone 18 Pro brings incremental upgrades – a slightly faster chip and refined camera optics – but the price jump is similar to previous generations. CNET highlights deals that let shoppers score a free iPhone 17 when buying an iPhone 18. For most Ugandan users, the 17 Pro Max’s feature set already covers professional photography, gaming and productivity, making the price gap less compelling.
